Hajj and Umrah are among the most important rituals in Islam. Hajj is the fifth pillar of Islam and must be performed by every physically and financially able Muslim once in a lifetime. Hajj takes place in specific months (Shawwal, Dhul-Qadah, and the days of Dhul-Hijjah) and involves a series of rituals in Mecca. Umrah is a lesser pilgrimage that can be performed at any time of the year. It is not obligatory but recommended. The rituals of Umrah include circumambulating the Kaaba and walking between Safa and Marwah. The importance of Hajj and Umrah: Spiritual purification: They aim to purify the soul and bring the servant closer to Allah. Unity: They bring Muslims together from all over the world, which promotes unity and brotherhood. Reward and blessing: They are considered acts that bring a Muslim great reward and spiritual blessings.
